The elegant apartments at Satori Flats offer the perfect setting for your art collection, your custom-made sofa, or your colorful area rugs. Sometimes, though, you might need help defining your personal style or finding pieces that work together. That’s when decorating apps come in handy.
Following are a few apps that may help you design your space (and we recommend reading reviews before downloading an app or buying pieces online).
Havenly
Like the idea of working with an interior designer but not sure if you want someone in your apartment? With Havenly, you can get remote input from a real interior designer – just upload photos of your apartment to get started. You’ll get advice on what to buy and curated shopping lists, and you can always choose to buy items on your own if you don’t like the specific recommended products.
Amikasa
Amikasa lets you “test drive” furniture in your apartment. Pick your room shape, size, and other features, and then add items to see how they look. The app also has a virtual 360-degree walkthrough, so you can get a better feel for how furniture looks in a specific room.
Houzz
Established in 2009, Houzz was initially a website for homeowners and others to share design, decor, and remodeling ideas. Houzz has grown to become a massive repository for design ideas, showcased products, video tutorials, and resources for connecting with professionals in home renovation and design.
The Houzz app or website is a good place to start if you have a certain type of decor in mind (mid-century modern or industrial, for example), or if you’re looking for ideas specific to one room in your apartment. Be warned, though – it’s easy to lose track of time while browsing all of the photos on this site!
Get a Virtual Tour
At Satori Flats, we understand that tech-savvy renters may want to see their next apartment remotely. We now offer virtual tours, along with online leasing, making it possible for people to see their apartment and sign their lease using only their smartphone. Are you ready for a tour?
